  • Co-Founder

    Neda Toloui-Semnani is an author, journalist, storyteller, and strategist. Her work has received numerous accolades, including seven News and Documentary EMMYs. Her print work appeared in various publications, including VICE News, The Washington Post, Kinfolk, New York, LA Review of Books, The Baffler, The Week, and Roll Call. She is a core faculty member at Goucher College's graduate program for Creative Nonfiction.

    Neda holds an MSc. in gender and social policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science and an MFA in nonfiction from Goucher College. She completed her undergrad at the University of Maryland, College Park. She was named a 2018 fellow with the Logan Nonfiction Program and a 2017 NYSCA/NYFA fellow in Nonfiction.

    She grew up in Washington, D.C., and is based in Brooklyn, where she lives with a small dog, a large cat, a funny kid, and a man she calls Stretch.

  • Co-Founder

    Cait Bladt is a writer, journalist, and producer. She has won two News and Documentary EMMYs, a Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Journalism and been nominated for a Writers Guild Award. Her documentaries have aired on Nightline, Impact x Nightline on Hulu, ABCNews Live Prime, and Vice News Tonight. She has also worked in educational non-profits and was, for a period of time, extremely into improv comedy.

    Cait was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. and cares a great deal about the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Chiefs. She currently lives in Brooklyn with a cat named Patricia who, at best, tolerates her.
